Mrs. Lewis has two degrees from Pitzer College, in Human Biology and Studio Art. She also has a Masters in Education from Claremont Graduate University, where she was a Robert Noyce Fellow. She loves Art and Science equally, and encourages her students to see the connections between Art and Science in the Natural World. Mrs. Lewis has been married for 3 years to her husband Samuel, and they recently welcomed their first baby, Porter Rose, into the world on December 11th, 2016.
Mrs. Lewis loves teaching, caring for animals, spending time with her family, and being outside. Her favorite place to go is Ontario, Canada, where her family has owned property for 6 generations on the Great Lakes. There they spend their days hiking, fishing, canoeing, picking berries and exploring the wild Canadian forests around their cottages.
